Almost ALL playback problems with the various DAWs I've used over the years have been traceable to the fact that the particular program does not or cannot access the audio driver which has been chosen somewhere in its settings. However, I suspect they are actually working as "Extensions", rather than plug-ins so do not/cannot route their audio via Samplitude.Īs for the inability to play back at all (as opposed to just not being heard) the audio driver is clearly nt the problem. If SL and SF were able to function as plug-ins to Samplitude then yes, at least in theory, the ASIO problem would be by-passed. But, it is inherently limited to ONE audio input source at a time. Indeed it is since ASIO completely bypasses all the Windows Audio processes which are often of very poor audio quality and can add considerable latency to the signal, a real problem when attempting to overdub. ![]()
